The Inspiration: 

One of my favorite days of the year while growing up was the day after Thanksgiving, and it had nothing to do with the crazy deals of Black Friday. This was the day we’d haul out the Christmas decorations and set them all up while listening to the likes of Mannheim Steamroller and other holiday classics. I loved the anticipation of the Christmas season!

But as an adult, Christmas may not seem as magical as it did as a kid. Deadlines, financial concerns, sickness, overbooking time, etc. can make the holidays burdensome. It’s very easy to miss out on the magic. For me, holiday memories and traditions/activities help keep the joy of the season alive.

If you find yourself struggling with the hectic demands of the holidays, I want to help you experience the magic of Christmas through my colorful, seasonal paintings. I hope these small works will add an exciting spark to your December and either remind you of happy memories and/or inspire you to create your own magical moments.

However you choose to celebrate, it doesn’t have to be big to be merry and memorable.
