Nurture
“Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children.” Though the ability to nurture may come more naturally to some than others, it is part of every woman’s divine nature. Whether she has children of her own or has not yet received that blessing, whether she is in the home or called out of the home, young or old, that nurturing tendency can shine through. Nurturing moments provide a glimpse of our Heavenly Mother as well as a vision of a woman’s divine destiny. This ability to nurture need only be cultivated, and the Lord provides those opportunities if they are sought.
My inspiration for this piece, Susan, nurtured hundreds of children in addition to her own as an elementary school teacher. She gave great care to their education and well-being. She carries on her nurturing tradition in the continued care of her own children and now her grandchildren. She is a marvelous light to all who know her.
