Heavenly Hands

A powerful feeling accompanies us as we join together in service. These outreaches of love not only strengthen those in need but also nourish our own souls as well. I captured such a moment on camera one day when my niece wanted to help feed my nephew. Unfortunately, she was hindered by her physical limitations and inexperience. Her desire to help prompted a chain reaction of others lending their hands to assist her in accomplishing her goal. All involved experienced joy and love in this seemingly simple moment of service. I believe that in our efforts to help and serve, we give what we can and we too are assisted, whether those hands are here in mortality or beyond the veil. In such efforts, these linked hands reach back to the Savior, whose hands first infinitely served us. We are His hands, and no effort is ever too small or wasted.
